At International Women of HOPE, we believe that education is a powerful force for transformation. When we discovered the heartbreaking reality in Lalomas—a rural area of Saint-Michel-de-l’Atalaye—where children as old as 18 had never set foot in a classroom, we knew we couldn’t stand by and do nothing.
IWOH’s annual mission trips provide a unique blend of cultural exchange, meaningful impact, and unforgettable memories. Over the years, our efforts have centered on the northern region of Haiti, where volunteers engage in six days of high-energy, diverse, and impactful activities.
At IWOH, we believe that a woman’s mental health and well-being are essential to her overall existence and empowerment. Recognizing that many women lack the support and safe spaces needed to navigate their journeys, we have made it our mission to foster a nurturing and inclusive environment.
During the holiday season, IWOH brings hope and comfort to women in shelters by donating purses filled with essential items.
