At International Women of HOPE, we believe that education is a powerful force for transformation. When we discovered the heartbreaking reality in Lalomas—a rural area of Saint-Michel-de-l’Atalaye—where children as old as 18 had never set foot in a classroom, we knew we couldn’t stand by and do nothing.
With God’s direction and in partnership with Grace New Hope and Pastor Lauran, we took action. Together, we began the work of sharing the bread of education, ensuring that these children could finally experience the opportunities that learning provides.
For the past two years, our school in Lalomas has welcomed nearly 100 children, from kindergarten and up, giving them a chance to break the cycle of poverty through knowledge. We are grateful that Grace New Hope stepped in to raise the funds needed for their uniforms, a simple yet powerful gift that instills dignity and pride in these young learners.
Yet, the need remains urgent. We need your help. Teachers are at the heart of this mission, and we are in great need of funds to support them. Every contribution matters. Every donation—big or small—ensures that these children continue to learn, grow, and build a future full of possibilities.
As the Word says, “My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge.” If we truly want to see change, we must be intentional about equipping the next generation. Join us in this mission—because education isn’t just a gift; it’s a lifeline.
