Empowerment Through Faith and Action
At International Women of H.O.P.E, empowerment takes many forms. It is rooted in faith, driven by action, and focused on uplifting women—single women, young women, widows, and those often neglected by society. For the past 13 years, our work has transformed lives by providing support, opportunities, and a voice for those in need, in Georgia,Haiti,Brazil and wherever our resources can reach.
From the beginning, we took a bold stance against violence in all its forms. We were among the first to invite men into the conversation, recognizing that true transformation requires unity. By creating a space where both men and women can serve together, we are actively breaking cycles of violence and fostering dialogue that leads to lasting change.
In this season, God has called us to come together as a community to engage in meaningful conversations about mental wellness and the state of our mental health. We recognize the urgent need for resources and education to support those who are most vulnerable.
As part of our commitment to mental wellness, we are honored to collaborate with Morehouse School of Medicine. This partnership has allowed a group of young adults to receive training and become actively involved in addressing mental health challenges within our community. Under this initiative, we are focusing on both mental and physical wellness, equipping young adults with the strength and knowledge to make a lasting impact.
That’s why we are excited for our upcoming Health Beyond Borders Community Outreach, taking place on:
📅 Saturday, February 22nd
⏰ 10 AM – 5 PM
📍 The Connection Church, under the leadership of Dr. Oris Guillaume
What to Expect:
✅ Expert insights from three immigration lawyers, helping attendees navigate legal challenges
✅ Discussions on mental health, led by spiritual leaders, nurses, psychologists, and nurse practitioners
✅ Young adults trained in mental and physical wellness through our Morehouse collaboration will be actively involved
